SLEEP

We don't have a festival ground that looks like the beach of Normandy after D-Day. The city of Tilburg is our festival ground and it offers you a lot. There are posh hotels, budget hotels, campings with lions and campings without lions. It's up to you! These are our suggestions. If you want tot take a cab you can call Taxicentrale Midden-Brabant +31 (0)13 5838383

Address Heuvelpoort 300, Tilburg

A bit fancy but what the heck. Because this hotel makes you king of the hill, right in the middle of the festival area.

Bastion Hotel view website
Address Kempenbaan 2, Tilburg

Only 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Double rooms are only €64,-. We call that a bargain.

Hotel de Lindeboom view website
Address Heuvelring 126, Tilburg

Nice three star hotel in the heart of town. With wi-fi for the addicts and some of the best drinking hangouts like Buitenbeentje and Weemoed literally around the corner (for the addicts). You're also right in the middle of all Incubate festivities.

Vakantiepark Beekse Bergen view website
Address Beekse Bergen 1, Hilvarenbeek

No kiddin', this is a safari park, complete with lions, monkeys and all the animals from the jungle book. Here you can rent some jungalows (no kiddin') or put up your tent. Only 5 km out of town.

Heukeloms Hoefke view website
Address Laag Heukelomseweg 5, Heukelom

This camping is the closest to the city cente. But beware of the horses because this camping is actually a farm. It's only 5 km from the city centre. You can also rent a house and there's a group accomodation. If you have some time left: There's a beautiful nature district called Oisterwijkse Vennen.

Camping Duinhoeve view website
Address Oude Bosschebaan 4, Udenhout

You are a hippy and you think tents and camping belong to festivals? Or you're just on a budget trip. Well here you go! Just a good old camping. Close to nature, for a decent walk. Quite close to the city, for a decent party. If you actually don't like to camp, but are low on budget, you can rent cheap chalets or caravans.

Ibis Hotel view website
Address Dr. Hub van Doorneweg 105

Close to the highway and quite out of the city centre. If you're by car, or you can afford a cab at night (approx 15 euro) it's quite ok. Otherwise you'd better look for another place to stay.
During the weekend breakfast is served 'till 12 and it's an Ibis, with the advantages and disadvantages of a hotel chain.

Hotel Central view website
Address Spoorlaan 422

Right across from the central station. Rates and comfort are the same: cheap. Don't expect too much and you may make fun of it. If you're on a honeymoon: don't go there. If you're visiting a festival: It's much, much better than a camping.

Room rates:
single: 45 euro
double: 65 euro.
Triple: 90 euro.
Four: 110 euro.

Efteling Hotel view website
Address De Efteling

Fairy tale theme park 'De Efteling' offers different sorts of accomodation. The park is located 13 km from Tilburg and has an enchanting Efteling Hotel which is located right next to the park itself. In addition to its spacious hotel lobby, convivial 'Gelagkamer' bar and 'Mirakel' Bar, and the 'Hoffelijke Heraut' Restaurant, the hotel has 102 comfort rooms and 20 very special fairy tale themed suites.
Also, De Efteling offers accomodation for groups in the form of different themed cottages and appartments ranging from 4 to 8 people.
It's not the cheapest one around, but if you're traveling with a party, it can become surprisingly cheap. And the theme park is of course beautiful...
